Figured I'd put together the basics of my lore here.

I consider Omsk my hometown.

My main hobby is LEGO: I collect old and new sets, and run a YouTube channel and Telegram. Organized a few "LEGO meetups" a couple of times — stalled for now, but the idea's still alive. Here's roughly my collection. A couple of times I raced LEGO cars in competitions.

I love DIY: electronics (Arduino and around it, used to mess with discrete components too), 3D printing, smart home on consumer-grade modules. Back in school I soldered stuff on discrete components, and I've been slowly getting pulled into vintage computer hardware — the oldest thing in my collection dates to the early seventies.

I love video games — pretty much everything since the mid-80s. Recent favorites: Prey (2017), Factorio, Zelda BotW. I play on a Mac M1, GFN, Steam Deck, Wii, and my old computers. Examples of retro games I only discovered as an adult — Zelda: A Link to the Past, X-COM: UFO Defense (Enemy Unknown).

I occasionally pick up the classical guitar — went through a few Yamaha C40s across moves, a year and a half of music school under my belt.

I read science fiction and a bit of popular science, and I love paper books — though the stack in my house usually just waits for the dust mites to eat them.

I ride a bike around the city (SCOTT Aspect 960).
